Approximately 8 years ago, the first commercial indoor playgrounds were built in Germany. Since about 4 years, we are observing a very rapid increase, which has led up till today of more than 300 installations of this kind of playground. Intermediate figures show that there are 400 operating indoor playgrounds in Germany.
